The doctors who work from Queens Road Surgery have a mixed billing policy.
- Holders of a valid Medicare card will qualify for Medicare rebates.
- Some telehealth consultations will only attract a Medicare rebate if you are registered with MyMedicare.
- Medicare rebates may not be available for telehealth consultations if you have not attended the surgery face-to-face in the preceding 12 months. Please call (08) 9316 3535 if you may fall into this category.
- Most patients will pay a gap amount beyond the Medicare rebate.
- Children 9 years of age and under who hold a valid Medicare card will be bulk billed.
- Holders of a valid pension card receive a $12.00 discount on consultation item numbers longer than 6 minutes
- If you require longer than the time you have booked, you will be charged the equivalent fee for the time spent with the doctor.
- Fees for mole and skin cancer removals are variable depending on anatomical site, the size of the lesion and the pathology of the lesion.
- Failure to attend a booked appointment without giving at least 1 hour notice will attract a Non Attendance fee equivalent to the time booked.
