Please read the information below and respond CONFIRM to your SMS appointment confirmation text if NONE of the following apply to you. This will confirm you are symptom free.
Please call the surgery on 9316 3535 if any of the following apply to yourself or anyone in your household so that we can organise the most appropriate care:
- has tested positive to Covid-19
- is awaiting a Covid-19 test result
- is in isolation or quarantine
- has a fever or a recent history of fever
- cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, runny nose
- acute loss of smell or taste
- nausea, vomiting or diarrhoea
- any other cold or flu type symptoms such as fatigue, headache, muscle pain, joint pain or a blocked nose
Arriving for your appointment
Adults and children aged 12 years and above are recommended to wear a surgical mask when entering a healthcare facility.
If you have been asked to remain in your car, please call 9316 3535 to advise reception that you have arrived and the doctor will call you when it is time for your appointment. Please keep your mobile phone switched on. If you do not have a mobile phone, please ensure you are wearing a correctly fitted mask before entering the reception area. If you have not been asked to remain in your car, please enter reception to advise you have arrived.
Physical distancing is required at all times while at the practice unless medically indicated. Only 1 person at a time is to enter the reception area. Hand sanitiser is located in the reception entry.
If you are booked for a telehealth appointment, please have your phone or device ready. You may need to ensure that your camera and microphone are enabled. Your doctor will send you an SMS link when they are ready to start the video consultation. If you do not have a device capable of streaming video content, please let our reception staff know on 9316 3535 and your appointment can be changed to a telephone consultation.
Telehealth fees are the same as face-to-face appointments.
Medicare rebates may not be available for telehealth consultations if you have not attended the surgery face-to-face in the preceding 12 months. Please call 9316 3535 if you may fall into this category.
