“As many of you might know I am retiring from a long and rewarding career in medicine. I have been fortunate to work in general practice and have been privileged to share in the care of patients and eventually their extended families over 37 years. Initially for 5 years in Leeming and then 32 years at Queens Road. 32 years!! It seems unreal thinking about how fast the years have passed.
I am grateful for all of the lovely people I have worked with – too many to name!! And I know that they will continue to look after the wonderful community of patients that have trusted us with their care.
I finish up at the end of June and I’m looking forward to the next phase of a very fortunate life.”
